The Friends of the Fox River Grove Memorial Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to supporting goals of the Library as well as literacy initiatives in the local community. Since their founding in 1996, the Friends have helped to provide a wide variety of programs, materials, equipment, and patron services. Fundraising efforts include a biannual Book Sale, held each spring and fall.

It's easy to be a Friend! We welcome new members and invite you to attend our monthly meetings, held the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Panera in FRG, or email the Friends of the Library.

The Friends is a 501(c)(3) organization. Whether you join as an individual or at the Lifetime Patron level, your membership fees are tax deductible.

In 2018, with support from the Cary-Grove Rotary, the Friends of FRGML built and installed two Little Free Libraries in Fox River Grove, one on each side of the Metra tracks:
